Tamzin Outhwaite signs up for new Channel 5 drama series alongside Angela Griffin and Jo Joyner

Trio of actresses will star in a new six-part drama about three women whose lives are turned upside down by the disappearance of a young girl.

Tamzin Outhwaite, Angela Griffin and Jo Joyner have signed up to star in a new six-part drama series for Channel 5.

The drama, which is currently untitled, will follow the lives of three women whose lives are turned upside down by the disappearance of a young girl.

Outhwaite will play a detective sergeant who is leading the investigation into the disappearance, while Griffin will play a mother whose daughter is the missing girl.

Joyner will play a journalist who is covering the case.

The series is being produced by Kudos, the production company behind shows such as Broadchurch and The Tunnel.

The drama is expected to air on Channel 5 in 2023.
