Results and Highlights from the Event

The 2023 Canadian Track and Field Championships concluded on Sunday, July 30th, in Langley, British Columbia. The four-day event featured some of the country's top athletes competing in various track and field events.

Amongst the standout performances were Aaron Brown winning the gold in the 200m in 20.39 seconds, and Sarah Mitton setting a new Canadian record in the women's shot put with a throw of 19.56 meters.

The championships also served as a selection event for the upcoming 2023 World Athletics Championships in Budapest, Hungary. Several Canadian athletes met the qualifying standards for the World Championships and will represent Canada in the international competition.
